Just a little taste of our weekend on the Plains..
Fantastic! ...weather was pretty awful to start , but improved as the day wore on. Please excuse some out of focus shots , as most pics were taken from the cab - whilst moving:D All pics taken on Saturday , but we did a couple more hours on Sunday before heading home.
An epic weekend , brilliant social , even in the rain....
..and finally i'm home and able to get some well earned sleep!:D

:DLooks good, although pretty muddy, must have been a ****load of rain up there too.
I remember driving around the plains when I lived in North Hampshire for a few years. Hard to imagine anything more different to the tight holloways of the Westcountry.

Great to see the old 90 showing off its abilities, and the series in action. Betsy seems to have performed well anorl. Didn't get to the end, download speed is pathetic, but the first three mins was great :)

I was lucky enough to get to drive the series after the owner got leg cramp , so I offered up my services to give him a break, I've got to say it was very different and hard work , when you've been spoilt by coil springs and power steering .:D

Superb video Muds and a great reminder of a fantastic weekend.

Mind you its the first time ever I've had to winch someone out "on the way" to the campsite!! That'll teach us to take a shortcut :D ....... Not!!

But the look on Kevin's face as he got into the ice cold water (or so he claims) was just soooo funny and just set things up for a great weekend :D

Unfortunately I could only grab my phone to get a couple of quick pictures of the incident

Still, we quickly got them out but I can't understand how their camping gear managed to escape the flood

Anyway glad you both enjoyed it.

Classic moment!:D
Thanks so much for inviting us ...we both loved it ....Ian is still trying to get over me shouting Panzar! Panzar! Panzar! and making firing noises at every intersection , honestly we're like a couple of kids:rolleyes: And thanks for the Oz-tent linky , definately need a camp bed to get me off the floor , then camping might just be a little more inviting!:)
