Spitfiremk1uk cannot post anything is there any reason innactive or has he ****ed somone off or what?

He worked out the loading on towing components using a strop and using a rope it was quite good really but when he tried to post it just said No.

Went somthing like a discovery weighing approx 2 tonnes (disco plus recovery gear is about 2 tonnes). Towing at 7Mph just the weight of it i.e no traction or acceleration like dipping the clutch when the rope/strop gets taught transmits X ammount of force on the towing components. When the energy is dissapated over half a second or over a second or possibly 2 seconds. The results were staggering think of a strop it has no or very little stretch and will be taught pretty damn quick probably faster than half a second. Imagine going faster or having a heavier vehicle? I will get him to publish the results for people to slag I mean look at and ponder at as soon as he can post. Jai

I think I've sussed out why it is.

He can't post because he hasn't clicked the link in his comfirmation email, therefore the registration is not complete. The emails often get filtered out as junk. You wouldn't believe how many new memebers send emails with this problem.

Hey Mods I have chatted to Spiftiremk1uk he hasn't got a confirmation email anychance another one can be sent? or is it a case of a new login cos I doubt he will re register for fear of forgetting his new user name

The chances are the email has been filtered out and landed in his junk mail. However it can be bypassed so will get it sorted!

Cheers, He registered probably almost a year ago so the chances of finding the email is not high at all. Jai
