Regarding the newly cleared back yard.

We will need to hire a rotovator

"what's that do?"

"How come we can't do that with the landrovers?"

Hey peeps,

Just bin chattin to ma mate Zoolandy in da pub.

We kinda came to the conclusion we needs ter be gettin some sort o plan togevva.

Bottom line, should we think about getting all who are going together and sorting out the where and when of it. Any excuse for a beer I suppose but with people going on holiday and other commitments we need to do something in the next couple of weeks.

Don't get me wrong I'm happy to go with the flow but if we're not careful this could come down around our ears, if you know what I mean.

Perhaps we could all get together one evening say somewhere around St.Albans/Lemsford/Wheathampstead which is fairly central for all. Wadda ya think??
 
Kev, Sounds like a good idea. Well volunteered to organise it.;) By the way do you have a 1 5?8" or 42mm Socket that I could borrow? I need to get the Crank Pulley off.

Will give it some thought. I suppose the first question is when are folks available, during the week or a weekend?

I'm easy (most of the time but don't tell everyone:D ) The other option may be a Sunday lunchtime.....mmm sounds almost civilised.

If folks can post their thoughts I'm sure we can come up with a cunning plan.
 
Kev, I'm too busy at weekends atm, Manchester this w/e and then every spare daylight hour to get Tonka back on the road. Evening would be best for me. Don't mind where.
 
I could do a week day if it's planned late enough for me to get there from Surrey, sundays would give me more time and if it was at a lunch time we could have it at somthing like a Harvester and do a meal at the same time.

Let's see if we can get things in shape.

First, does anybody know what O.S. Maps we're going to want for the area?

Second, Discobasher can you post or PM the campsite details so everybody can understand where we are going.

Third, we need to confirm numbers and how many tents etc. I think Discobasher originally booked 10 pitches at the campsite for Saturday night.

Next up - a get together. I have no idea!! Some can do week day evenings and some can't. Some can do weekends and some can't. I'm afraid we're gonna have to compromise in here a bit.

So here's the plan. I will suggest a time and place to meet( I'm also open to suggestions), it will have to be next week, bearing in mind some people are going to be going away. If you can't make it, we will have to make a group/majority decision and post it up here so everyone knows who is doing what with which and to whom.

If I have any other thoughts I will stick 'em up 'ere.

That's 10, so I guess that fills up the pitches Discobasher has booked. hopefully I haven't missed anybody:eek:

I seem to remember somebody saying the Rangie boys are coming. Has anybody heard from them?? Have they got a pitch booked? Can somebody touch base with em and find out what they is a doin of?

Looking through the thread I see some interest from Ratty and couple of others; what's the story? Would be nice to have you guys along - all the more the merrier:D

I don't wanna be rude but we'll have to send campsite details to ya and let yoose all make your own arrangements.

The plan as far as I understand it is that Ryder, Jai and Kris are planning to go down to Salisbury on Friday. Everybody else, leave early Saturday morning, RV is Fleet services then on to Salisbury from there.

Next week, I propose we meet, say Tuesday or Wednesday evening say 8:00pm. I'm open to a venue but was thinking a fairly central place between Beds & Herts so how about Wheathampstead or Lemsford, so if anybody knows a decent pub with a big car park please PM details and I will spread it around. can you all let me know which day is best.

Sorry if I've been droning on a bit but there's lots to focus on:eek:

Apart from that, have a good one and I hope we can all hook up soon:)

Pub meet at the Roman way should be this Wednesday could use that as a get together or we could try a new location mabe in wheathampsted or wherever. Im on holls at the moment sitting in a wet tent surrounded by lanes that I can't drive cos I'm in one of fords finest cars,which is so frustrating! Not 100% when Ill be home mabe for wednesday still unsure Jai
