Spent all day on the diff lock today. loads of brute. (im no weed!) and It still wont budge. even smacked it with a hammer for half hour

Is someone with more knowledge and skill able to lend a hand? Cant offer a reach-around.... but can offer a good natter bacon sarnies and juice in the tank!

Mine was seized solid when I got my Disco, but at least it means it's not been used!
I removed the centre console and gaitor and removed the unit from the top of the box, stripped, lubricated and worked it and can now select diff lock with my little finger, took a couple of hours but well worth it!

will have another go tuesday....think the closest the last owner came to diff lock was spell check. Its been soaking nearly 2days.!!

are the shafts east to replace?. i bent mine getting angry
