Slight snag with getting it off at the moment, steering column is basically off now but the steering lock wont release (guess rusted up) and the pinch bolt that connects the column to the part you want is round at pretty much the only angle that I cant get to with a socket (dont want to risk a spanner) it at the moment.

I will be able to do it without damage to this part but probably not until next weekend now, will probably involve cutting the inner wing away to get to the bolt head or removing this from the PAS box and cutting the bulkhead to allow the whole lot to come through with the steering column - will see what looks easiest.
On the plus side the joints etc do look ok.

Hi mate, removed and seems in fine condition no play at all as far as I can feel.

I have the bolts which I will put back in (just forgot them for the photo)



If you still want it it weighs 1.5kg but the royal mail website is down at the mo send paypal as a gift/personal payment for the £20 plus the money for whatever postage option you want and let me know... I will check the royal mail site again later if you can't get it to work either.

Try parcel2go they are much cheaper and will collect.

cheers I usually use them for heavier things not sure how this compares to Royal mail but Hermes 3 day courier via Parcel2go cheapest option £5.99...

edit found a pdf with royalmail prices 1st class £5.66, I can get to a post office either Monday or Tuesday then Im away for a while

rear dickie/jump seats (grey leather) (also hopefully tomorrow)

Hi, I am looking for
1 x centre cap of the grey wheels.
1 x 235 x 70 x 16 tyre ( grey wheel)
Hydraulic rear step, dont see one there ..but thought I would ask anyway.

depending on if your going to break it, then I am also looking for
2 x std rear shock springs
4 x brake disk covers
4 x Mudflap mounting plates.

Do you have any of these bits?

Hi the Grey ES spec wheel is spoken for, I will be selling the other silver ones seperatly though as theres only 3 silver, one disco steel and teh grey one which has gone.

Hi,
Not sure the speakers are much good, the rears were ok but I asked the missus to remove them - she did no problems then promptly left them in the car under the open sunroof so they are now somewhat wet.....
didnt have electric seats in this one and no step sorry.

ps I've started to cut it up today so if anyone wants anything be quick as I probably wont be taking too much care over how it gets cut as long as I can get the bits I need ie engine/box and possible axles anything that gets in teh way may well not survive

I need a drivers door lock, would take the whole handle if nessersary.

Also, what are the passenger doors like and can you PM me a price please.

I have a couple of dents in my front door and if yours is cheap enough I might be interested in it.

Looks the same colour as mine, in the V5 as Grey.

Hi,

Drivers door lock was always a bit dodgy but think it just needs a new spring (inside lock drops and then you cant open from the outside), passenger side doors front and rear are both fine (pretty much the only straight bits left) I have removed the inside panels and the locking solenoids already - I want the solenoids but the panels can go if needed

Passenger / NS Doors £35 each, drivers door handle/lock etc £10 (take the whole door for that if you are collecting that way you can use what you need) will do a deal on both NS doors and the lock (buy the 2 passenger doors and you can take what you need from the drivers door/whole door) or a better deal if you come and remove them this weekend as it will help me get on with scrapping the rest.

Hi if you fancy these dors let me know quick as its being taken away tomorrow and weighed in on monday

It's such a shame your not a bit nearer, by the time I include fuel in the landy to pick up the door it becomes way too expensive.

If you could whip the drivers handle off and include the key/keys I'd pay postage on that.

If that's ok let me know how much and I can PayPal over the money at my cost.

If you could check the operation of the keys in the lock first as well please, my one was tough to lock for a while, needing a good bit of pressure to lock, then the plastic bit behind the barrel cracked and the key would do nothing and just turns freely now.
