Hi All,
I ve bought a 2008 range rover sport tdv6 2.7 L 4 weeks ago.
So far Ive gotten 15 mpg :mad:, 16 mpg driving around london not stuck in traffic at all really just local w6 and 19mpg on a trip out to guildford.

These are the lowest ive seen having googled online and Im really not happy - reading others mpg it should be 20-25 around london and 25-30 motorway.

Is there anything I can check or does anyone know what problem might be.
Also can anyone recommend a good independent london mechanic to service it.

If you bought it from a dealer, take it back.
Could be though you've just got a lead foot.

Have bought a 3 yr warranty also if anything majors wrong

Get some injector cleaner
redex type of stuff
my p38 2.5 never returns what people claim I just take it as "its alot like its owner,likes to drink too much"
I get 21mpg on a daily run 4 miles traffic 10miles motor way then the same back again

Will het some injector cleaner cheers
Doing about 150/ week normal diesel and fill tank to very brim back to 0 and next time I fill I check mileage

Any good mechanic recommendations also

I still think it might be lead boot, my P38 averages 24mpg, but I can get it into the low teens if I boot it.
 
I know jack about cars - lead boot as in foot always on accelerator or foot pressing down really hard to accelerate ??
