Hi there guys I was wondering if anyone who's had experience with the JLR Pathfinder software could help me out with this question

so I've currently got a stolen recovered RR SPORT L494 2019 and as you can imagine the car was stripped out, ive replaced all the ecus but obviously they need programming, ive heard that the JLR pathfinder can do this, Ive sourced a doip VCI online but i'm wondering if you need to pay a topix subscription to program the modules ( second hand ecus). if so which subscription would I require

1. The cheaper of the two, Document subscription

2. independent module programming, which cost more than double the first option!!

Any help will be greatly appreciated

thank you

Hi

Personally , if I may say there are ways but don’t wish to say it on an open forum

personally u would be best to get a dealer to reprogram everything , also some second hand ecus cant be reprogrammed , all part of some of the security system , inc keys etc

if u mess it up ur end up with a brick on the driveway

I admire being only 18 ur trying to repair it , but don’t forget there are many safety systems built in, getting it done by a dealer ur then know it will be safe for u to drive

Got to agree with Gary. This is not a question that should be answered on an open forum. Even if you weren't a total unknown, popping up on a forum, asking how to reset a stolen car! Even if you came by it legally.
This is a main JLR dealer job. Where they can verify your story. As well as prevent you having a very large paperweight.

Wondering if you could help me on this one

i finally plugged in my doip today and it came up with 98 Faults :/!!
I managed to get it down but there are a few things I’m struggling on

1. when trying to calibrate Ride height for suspension - I type in the measurements that I have recorded from the wheels -but I get a message saying it’s not within Range Rover tolerance and only gives me a 3mm difference to get right... does anyone know or know where I can find the normal ride height for Range Rover sport svr 2019?

2. on a lot of modules I’m getting a “missing message from communication bus *c/d/f* does anyone know the solution for this?

3. I’ve got an airbag light on but no airbags were deployed and the light won’t reset

4. abs has faults including yaw/longitude sensors etc.. how do I reset this

5. finally, I haven’t paid for an Online subscription for topix programming or diagnostics but it still allowed me update ecus and do diagnostics so what is the point in paying for topix membership

thank you

Hi

ur dealing with vin codes/ software missing in modules etc , also seeing that modules have been replaced it all needs to be programmed correctly

there are sequences but like I said wouldn’t wish to explain it on an open forum

at the end of the day it needs to be done by a reputable garage , also so that ur insurance company will also be satisfied that is was done correctly

without it being fully tested with specialist equipment u don’t know if it’s 100% safe , to which can put u into harms way and other road users

Also if I may add, assume the ecu’s that have been replaced are all new

How many ecus have u replaced pls,! thks

Programming new modules does require a Topix Subscription unless you are a dealer and even then they are restricted in what they can do as well hence in Pathfinder there is no facility to edit the CCF. If anyone needs that facility I can offer it as I have written an app to do it in conjunction with Pathfinder.
