Hi All,

I've got a TD6 VOGUE 2002 L322 and my heating fan stays on even when the car off and the key is out.

The only way I can switch it off is by taking out the fuse. I've disconnected and reconnected the aircon control panel unit in hope that would reset something but no joy. At the moment I'm driving with the heated heats on in order to keep warm!

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Hi,

Its stays on for good. I can take the key out and set the alarm and still stays on. The vents just keep blowing air.

Has it always done it during your ownership or did it just happen recently? Has anything else been changed that could cause a short? I take it there are no error messages showing. Does it respond to the speed selector or is it blowing max irrespective of the setting? Short of substituting bits and pieces which can be expensive and time consuming sounds like you need it plugged in to a diagnostic.

Hi Just to update you... ..it was the heating resistor unit

There's a top place in Hackney called Central London 4x4 which fixed it for a fraction of the cost Land Rover would have charged!!!

Top Place!! The chaps name is Paul if you call.

My cars back in again for a gearbox this time!!
