no gav i dont deal with escorts or have any intention of doin so, so i dont no anything about mk6 escort im afraid.

there are so many people on forums and not enough names to go round!!!

thats why i use this name, thanks to my mum no other poor bastard is stuck with it, lol!!!

did you read the link?

should give you all the info you'll need!!!

yes ive read the link thanks, when it dry enough ill have a look and see if the heater gets moved to all the vents first, but it sounds like the one that does the cold to hot is stuck. shame as never wanted to attack the dash as it immaculate condition, or even strip out the centre part. still gotta have heat.

the book light can go on for many reasons, start engine, turn aircon on, and see if the clutch engages on the aircon pump. its on the top right od the engine. if it doesn't then you prolly need to regas aircon.

i suspect its on for the blend motor tho!!!!

yeah, i'm pretty sure it is, it's a bit of a cnut to do, but it is the easiest side to access. trouble is tho, they are usually 3 connected together. i reckon you can splice one in but how long before others go???

Changing the blend motors, are not as bad as you might at first think, when you read about it and what to do it seems like a nightmare, the job is easy enough and should only take no more than 1/2 an hour, the only problem i had is, that its just a tight squeeze getting them in and out

I was very lucky and got one from ebay for £20 i was the only bidder, and he put the add in the wrong place
