Heated Windscreen only works in bands

Hi All
Now that winter is here I'm using my heated front screen, but it only partly works.
Now:::... it only works in bands across the screen. Some of each half works but not all.

Any ideas?

Winters been here for the past 3 months or so

Broken elements ...

be grateful it works at all ...

that's the way they go... the elements are embeded in the screen and they fail, the only fix is new screen

It's knackered!

Proper cheeses me off

Fitted a brand new screen to mine a few years ago as a remedy for rubbish heaters, enjoyed one winter then next time round I've got a 4" band in front of my face that has failed

Have similar band on the wind screen all due to a stone chip, must have been like that for the last 14years.

Not a problem the last time I used the heated screen was to clear the thick snow of 2011-12 haven't seen snow since then, my heater takes care of any frost in a couple of minutes
