Hi all I bought disco 2 few weeks ago that came with bare key(no fob)
So I ordered new fob and have it linked up with nanocom
The alarm was turned off and passive immobiliser turned off but my new fob now works locking doors ect
I want to try and turn on alarm and passive immobiliser now with nanocom to see if all works ok with new fob
What’s the right setting to turn back on with nanocom…thanks in advance for any advice

Hi, as long as the fob unlocks the alarm should work as it should... set as follows:
Alarm - fitted
Alarm option - enabled
Alarm sounder - Both
Alarm tamper - enabled
Engine immobil - LED flash
Passive immob - enabled
EKA option - enabled

go in utility and set your personal EKA code from small numbers as to be easy to insert(a combination of digits between 1 and max 5)

after you write settings exit menu untill start page from bottom x, turn ignition off and wait 60 seconds before you unplug nanocom

Great thanks for responding,as you said hopefully the fob will unlock the alarm
Is there a setting to turn on with nanocom that the lights come on when I unlock the doors with fob

Just be aware that if you enable all those alarm/immobiliser options you'll not be able to start the vehicle if the fob or RF receiver fails only after you insert the EKA code and if your door latch's internal switch fails as well you are in deep sh*t once immobilised cos nanocom will not connect and you can't do anything so think twice

Just reading through other posts am I right in saying it’s turn on all or nothing,as I’m alarm will not turn on unless passive immobiliser is turned on
