Headlight washer jets leak screenwash

Hi all. I've been a member for a while now but I've never actually posted before.

I've got a problem with my 53 plate Discovery 2 TD5 GS7 Auto(Facelift model) in that when I fill the washer reservoir the screenwash pours out of both pairs of headlight washer jets. If you pull the stick to wash the windscreen everything works fine (headlight washers on every 3rd wash) but obviously it doesn't last for long with it pouring out the bumper jets.
Has anyone came Accross this rather random problem? I've tried searching the site but can't find any relevant threads.

Your help would be greatly received

Many thanks in advance
John

Has it got any seals.or where it goes on to the washer jet perished so leaks out.or crimp the pipe so it no longer drips but wont wash either

IMO it's leaking through the motor, there's no non return-valve on that "circuit" unless the T piece is not valve too.... it seems it is cos it's named "valve" but most a restrictor than non-return one...so worth a try to replace that (DNE100050)

Hi

I've not looked indepth into it yet. Was hoping for ideas of where to start. I was thinking of a stick open valve. If the vehicle is level water flows from both sets of bumper jets but if the cars at an angle ie one side higher than the other the the water is only lost from the lower pair of jets.
