Been told you can use the head bolts on a disco 300 tdi upto 5 times has anyone else heard this as supposed to be in the Haynes manual... But I'm not so sure.....

5 times may be stretching it but 2 or 3 ok just check the bolts are all the same length per type

You can re use the head bolts but for the extra few quid it's worth getting new ones..
these bolts get very hot, strech/warp over time ect ect so imagine doing all that work changing head only to have it let go due to old blots! Talk about kicking yourself! Lol

reusing an overheated head is more of a risk
