I did shiftys as he booked it a while back, and Im going to use up laser cut parts and precut stuff though I was going to weigh it in until I worked out what it owed!
Got a challenge truck build for a rich boy to do then thats it.
 
I'm struggling with this, you do a nice job pressbrake, there is a market for it and people are gaining awareness and interest.

Yet your still on here saying your not going to do it any more? I'm struggling with why.

Surely it would be better to realise that every forum has it's pratts and make the forum work for you?

Exactly - let your products do the talking - it appears you have several customers lining up to buy.

Spot on! I've met too many peolple who talk the talk but when it comes down to bellying up they cant actually walk the walk.
Clive can and does do what he says he can. One thing's for sure I'm glad he was able to do my crossmember before deciding not to do any more. I don't think I would have been happy with anyone else's product. Mate don't let the buggers grind you down.

Its easy to be a big man behind the safety and annonomity of a keyboard.
Some of the personal stuff said on this forum would not happen face to face without painful consequences imho.

Just my 2p worth. I purchased a hd bumper from him and Im very pleased with it. The price was great fir an unpainted item and Im currently finishing it myself. I too am dismayed that a skilled guy with many good ideas is thinking of leaving us and Im sad that i will never be able get my x member improved by him.

Well I can't pretend to know anything about what's gone on, but what I do know is that I've only heard praise for PB's work and service. It'll be a real shame if we lose another individual who takes such pride in his work.

I know I'll be extremely disappointed as I was planning on getting my one replaced sometime after the summer and obviously being local and after hearing so much good about him I was going to get in touch with Clive/PB.

After seeing his work I will be very disappointed if I end up having to go for one of the inferior pattern-part crossmembers from the likes of Britpart.
 
Another big fan of Clive here - did my 90's rear crossmember - best quality and best price, by a mile. Also bought an HD front bumper from him which is amazing quality too.

It'll be a shame if he stops making Land Rover parts - I don't know what's happened, but I guess people behind keyboards have been getting a bit excitable.

If he does start doing Land Rover bits again, snap up anything he has, as it'll be better made than anything else out there.

I'm after a HD front bumper and rear cross member. And after what I've read about your products here I was hoping to get one of yers - any chance? I've been replacing lots of bits and upgrading where I can / where it's worth it and this seems like one of those occasions.

Echoing what others have said here - it sounds like you have great products, service, reputation,etc, etc. It'd be a crying shame if stop making them.
 
bugger, had one of the previous threads tagged as I will probably need new x-member for my 110. Thought I had worked out where to get it..... now he goes and gives up
