asked at Rogers at Bedford today about a spring for my disco 2 fuel flap and apparently you have to buy the whole flap!

is that right? They’ve said similar things before and I’ve found the part I wanted but I can’t find a spring or even a part number

If it is being a PITA to pop out , you can "adjust" the flap hinge to allow it to pop, when the dash button is pressed.

Cheers

Thanks I saw that but because Craddocks rarely bother to include a photo, or in this case even a description, I wasn't sure if it was the right bit. Is that definitely the spring bit?

Mine currently has a modification to keep the flap shut I can only think Britpart have made - blue tack.

I've ordered it from Craddocks. I'm surprised Rogers said they could only get the whole flap assembly - it's not like them to try and upsell stuff like that

I've been reading though that some of the later Discos had a rubber cushion (FSU000010) instead of the spring?

Like this??
