Freelander virgin

Hello all,

I have taken the plunge and am currently putting a freelander back on the road that has sat for 2 years gathering must rust.

Does anyone know of a cheap place to get my hands on a front abs sensor. Had to destroy the old one on removal attempting to clean it.

Freelander is a 98 S plate. 1.8 petrol (K series I think?)

Has it has the modified gasket and oil rail? If not get it fitted as it will save more expensive repairs in future.

They've got ABS sensors on ebay at the moment, just seen them half an hour ago but forgot how much for.

Welcome. Also search ebay for "freelander breaking" as quite a few sellers post the car being scrapped, selling something daft like a wheel bolt & letting you contact them regarding any bits you need.
