Fookin car insurance

Got my renewal through for my car insurance (the mundano not disco) and b*stards want an extra £200 this year even though I have 9 years no claims and 3 points from feb 06 so went on tinterweb and got quote back down to what i was paying last year so made a call to heffalump to go ahead.

After listening to all the dross etc I have been told there is a claim against my old rr from july last year which will bump up the premium again. When I was parked up someone reversed into the side of it and drove off in front of the cctv, police were told and reported to insurance but nothing ever came of it (once again useless polis bastids) so I completely forgot about it.

Now have to pay nearly an extra £50 this year cause I did the right thing and notified the insurers whether a claim was made or not

If you didnt claim then it shouldnt count agaisnt you.More than did this to me, i reported me stero getting nicked and asked will it cost me to nenew next year.Answer was yes, but windows wont affect claim.So i claimed for the windows.Next year premium doubled.Bastids.Had to ring them up and get it taken off.They "took it off" and reduced the price accordingly.I thought they were a bunch of tw@ts so looked else where.However the claim was on a national insurance database so everyone quoted me for the claim.BASTIDS!So i stayed with em couldnt do much about it.The next year went to renew and thy sed i had two claims.APPRENTLY I HAD CLAIMED FOR A BREAK IN EITHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT ON THE NIGHT I GOT BROEK INTO BUT DIDNT CALIM FOR!!!!ARGGGHHH!!!!Eventually got the removed but everytime i get a quote they both appear.SOmehow ive got full protect NCB though.Madness.

Sounds very similar mate. I rang the insurance and told them what had happened to the rr but told them I wouldnt be claiming unless I found the other driver, they said they would put it on their system but unless I rang back within 30 days nothing would be done and not to worry. Ill be calling the insurance tonight to try and get it removed from the database if thats possible.

Fookin heffalump treated me like I had missed it out on purpose, saying we asked if you had any claims in last 3 years and you said no which in my view was true, I didnt know they had added it to the database without telling me. they asked me if i got it repaired so i told them i did it myself as i didnt want to claim. next question how much were you quoted? again told them no quotes i did it myself. oh, well how much did it cost you? so i said well how much do you think a hammer and a shaping tool is? stumped now she went back to how much were you quoted question. what part of i did the work myself do they not understand. :doh:

me "i suspect not cos if there was then they wouldnt have broken in would they?"
