Have been offered a set of +2" flexi arches for my Disco 300tdi, trouble is I only have 235/70/16 Insa Turbo Sahara's on at the moment on standard alloys.

But...I also have some 30mm spacers so I'm trying to work out if it would look OK or just silly, what do you reckon?

Personally I think it would look silly - the wheels would be too small for the arches and the track would be too narrow a la early e-type

they will look stoopid with that size tyre

my arches are filled out nicely with the tyres i got

I have -35mm offset wheels, a change of 68mm and they look just right imo. I still think Flexis would look a bit OTT - they're for fitting when you need extra clearance, not to make the car look good.

Oh right, sorry only just realised you weren't the OP. Maybe it is time to go home. If you're getting rubbing then fit arches, simple(ish)

lol believe it or not there not too bad..this is my 1stdisco having had a bobtail rr and a fender so ive only got them to compare it too

but i like em..but im a big fan of simex so when theese wear out i will think about them

I read that as "I like 'em big" and my mind was off on a whole different tack...

I really should drive the dosco off the ramp and go home...

I just put flexi arches on mine today,i have 265 75 16 on modular steels and they sit 55mm in from arch looks abit funny but will be odering some 33 1250 15 on monday hopefully will fill the buggers up
