Just bought a Disco 2 1998 auto. Td5 - It's done 75k and drives very nicely.
Bodywork and chassis all looks good, just a headlining and a few minor trim issues to sort.
I feel the suspension could be better with stiffer springs and new shocks.
I feel something brake disc or bushing, because occasionally braking from speed a little bit of judder is felt (very little but I have noticed a couple of times).
Also, central locking seems slow. I have 1 key and need a spare.
Enjoying it though. Not intending to off road it on a regular basis.
Options? Thanks in advance.

A vehicle of that age could probably do with a serious looking at by now.
It might be a good idea to look at replacing the brake discs and pads all round and if you're uninclined to do it yourself for whatever reason, get somebody to carefully check all the bushes underneath, replacing whatever is needed. It might also be a good idea to have all the fluids, oils and filters changed too.
When you talk about the suspension, is the vehicle on coils or air bags?
The "slow" central locking - the first thing to check/replace is the battery in the fob, it's type CR2032. Use a good quality battery, not a 100 for a quid offer at the local poundshop. The next thing to check is the security and cleanliness of the mounting/ground bolt on the RF Receiver unit which is mounted in the roofspace above the headlining, just in front of the rear sunroof. Normally it is accessible without pulling the headlining down, it just a bit more fiddly.
I would advise that you download yourself a copy of RAVE, the workshop manual and lots more from:-

http://www.green-oval.com/data/lr/rave01.iso. It's free but only works on windows kit.

Also, take a look at the buyer's guide which @neilly has provided, it should give you some more advice:-

Thanks for that.
I'm more than happy to work my way through the jobs, I just hope to be able to do so at my own pace and not one dictated by the car.
Fob battery will be ordered today and I'll call in at our local 4x4 place for a spare key.
