Evening chaps.
After a lot of searching on here and other bits of the tin-ter-net i've come to the conclusion that my FSR has died on my 2002 TD6 Vogue and i was just hoping for a few other opinions to confirm before i order a new one.
Switched on the heater last night and everything lights up as it should but no noise or air from the motor/vents.
My diagnosis is the Final stage resistor but i'd be hugely grateful for some opinions from the boffin's!! (Saint i'm looking at you!)

The only way to confirm is by changing the FSR . They are relatively cheap but don't fall into the trap of buying a pattern part, only buy OEM or you will be changing it again very soon. If your pretty athletic you can change it in about 15 mins

i find it funny how the stupid electrical design allows a permanent battery supply to feed to the resistor when the cars ignition is turned off !

+1 to all the above - sounds very much like the FSR has gone kaput...weird fan behaviour usually occurs on its way out...then nothing....and as can also happen, it just gives up...

Cheap enough to change out for a test...but do check your HEVAC/Fan fuse in anycase

Cheers chaps!! A quick update.
Jumped in to go to work tonight and the fans are coming on at varying speeds so I reckon that's the problem.
