Extra fan ?

Ok I have had my Discovery Td5 for 8mts now and change the injector loom removed the ERG and serviced it last week ! Last night walking across Tesco car park I just noticed I have a extra fan fitted in front of the radiators but still have the original one also ? Is this a good thing or should i remove one ? if so what one ?

The front one is for your a/c the rear is for radiator cooling.

Air con fan.
