OK the whole jate rings have just clicked!! so they attach direct to the chassis that makes sense then I do not need to use the towing points?

Had a slight mishap last night whilst out laning. Exited a lane and whilst going downhill and approaching a slight bend i lifted off and I think due to still having mud on the tyres the back came right round and I ended up facing the wrong way backwards in the hedgerow on the other side of the road !!!!!! Quite lucky it didnt tip over really as I was doing about 40 !!!!

can't quite remember but it was not too far off what you'd have got whole.

Nope, I've tried it and given it 6 months but I don't like it and want a clutch pedal back.
Gonna start looking for another 300tdi to be a doner for a manual box conversion.

I happen to have an R380 in the one ive just picked up!

What's the box like?
I've still got double check all the parts required but so far I've worked out I need
Gearbox
Box crossmember
Bell housing
Pedal box and possibility master cylinder
Manual injector pump
Clutch kit

Spotted a couple of cheap trucks on eBay. I'm wondering if it's worth get a box refurbed while I'm at it.

200/300 fly wheel

Ah yes flywheel cheers ba. Reckon my own donor truck would be the way forward.
