Mines now off the road for a month as the MOT's up. Still i have a set of Monroe HD shocks and springs to fit along with new axles and R380 box. Gonna change a few other bits as well and get some proper off road tires too.

Yeah, it want as Deep as I'd thought.....mind you, one guy in the group (sans-snorkle) managed to kill his motor in a deep bit (300tdi Disco)...but after a quick tow to a dry-ish (not over the top of the wellies) bit, Mike (from these forums) pulled out the glowplugs, cranked to get rid of MOST of the water, I supplied a spare (dry) air filter, and we carried on.

Has anyone else noticed how ****ed the lanes near Coggeshall are by the A120?

Residents have started putting nails in the ditches too...this isnt good chaps...im gonna trundle up there tomorrow see if i can catch any of the tw4ts in the act of making 1 byway into 3 :mad:

Ill also be checkin the ones out over in Dunmow that I found on the Landranger, not sure if theyre any good...Channel 10 if anyones in the area

you see the herts laners fred?Gibbo phil had a vid on there the other day of him going through, that was deep then.

So the original lanes are ok? Just putting nails in the bits where people are crossing onto wrong areas?
 
pretty much-well going by the signs he's put up.
No signs of any nobheads today though...just a couple of VERY young lookin lads in 2 vitaras-but they were on the byway..and i made them back up to let me pass...to the sound of my boy shoutin "Poozuki" at them! That was at the Dunmow one which is actually nearer Gt Easton in Tilty, Tilty Hill Farm to Sucksted Green.
The signage is unclear as a VERY old sign at the farm entrance says Bridleway, but is quite clearly mapped on all mapping i can find as a byway..the sign at the other end is a new-ish sign that also say bridleway..very odd..its been clearly driven lots too

phone the prow office with the co-ordinates of either end! i had that with a lane near white notley (pink lane), it shows up on landranger maps as a byway on tomtom satnavs as a road but its a bridal way

phone numbers are here ( i did have them on me phone til i changed phone)

Brian-yes I know pairs etc etc, but I only ever go on me own when i got me boy & only do tame ones-if the goin gets tough, its back we go...i only stay local on me own in case of breakdown
