Cheers Stu, i'll look into that.

Just stripped the door down and looks like i need a new window arm as well. One of the plastic circular pieces the connects the arm to the window attachments has broken. Very much doubt i can repair that and don't have a spare.
Fcuks sake, at least the motor still works.

these pieces of plastic are they the cogs, if so i have a selection of cogs from some after market leccy windows i put in mine.

No there round pieces of plastic that are of the end of the arms that into the sliders attached to the window.

No Brian, don't want to have a claim on the policy for fear of the price hike next year.

Excess is only 50 quid but they wouldn't cover the fuel. Which leaves tenner for the window and upto £50 for the motor.
Maybe get back some for the cb but not the aerial cause its easily removed or the stereo as i have no recipt for it.
So maybe looking at saving £50 but loosing the truck for x amount of time and getting a hike along with no ncb.
Just not worth it.

Rarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Only place i'll get a arm from this week is new from Mansfields, £50! The bill is getting very big now.

At that price might as well get them to fit it. I think labour is apx £50 PH:eek:
But they have given some very useful advise and assistance, just means I need to do as much of the maintenance / repairs myself.

Sorry to hear about the theft, GITS I never knew LR's were targeted so much. I'm looking at various antitheft systems at the mo, buts its hard I really want to buy toys instead!

Pretty sure the people who stole from mine didn't know what it had till they were stood by it. Pikeys hunting diesel i reckon.
Most likely.
If there is a bright side at least they didn't just stick a screwdriver into the tank.
You'd like to think the scum don't look over these forums for highly modified car's :( but could we wise to be vague on user locations.
Enjoy the laning those off tomorrow (sorry thats now today) and hopefully see you all on the 28th

Yer was glad the tank wasn't damaged.
Thieves do check forums for car specs and locations as i had it before on a Vauxhall site i moderate, guy went on and was really keen on see people cars to get ideas, within a couple of days someone attempted to break into one of the cars that the owner had responded to.
Hence why i don't give up the location of my house or workshop on a public forum.
