Well edited Matthew.

I had a little test of mine off road last night and I can report my transfer box is working perfectly and my new purchase seems to handle the rough stuff quite well.

You need to buy one soon Guy before the winter tax sets in.

yeah brian has mate, he picked it up the other day, yeah his still on here, you still a memeber of the group, we chat in there as well, see your come acros our matt, lol, i was going to say Landy but know what you ment

No new thoughts yet Brian, gonna try swapping the relays round and see if that does anything. If not may have to run new cables to the headlamps.

I've lost dipped beam light on both sides Stu. Side lights still work as does full beam. Trying fuses, bulbs, cleaning earth points, changing switch stalk to no avail.

My landy is being collected tomorrow and a few of the relays are still in it.

Do you want me to grab the headlight relay for you?

You will have to describe which one it is though.

McDonalds (Braintree) @ 20:00 if thats good for everyone?
Where to go?
Good Easter ford is 30 mins away.
And / or we could do some of the lanes around Dunmow (small ford) then under the A120 and finish up at the normal Braintree lanes?

Or there looks to be a few lanes around Good Easter, but I have no experience of them or if there are any TRO's???????

Open to suggestions.

If we are going to do Good easter or start at Dunmow let me know and i will meet you there, no point driving to Braintree then all the way back again.

If you could Brian, theres a load of them behind the glovebox where the alarm and window ECU are, just grab them all lol.
Also have you taken the weird bolt in fuses from under the bonnet? If you don't want them I'll take them as handy for spares.

Chris,

heres the CD's for the headlights, hope they help, if you need them in pdf ill email them to you

looking at it, there can only be a few things worng, unless loose connection, these could be Dim/Dip resistor (K175), Dim/dip relay (K176), Fuse's in Fascia Fuse Box (P126), of of cause the MFU (Z148), but if the relay is clicking then I would of thought thats working.

shove the CD's infront of Mike his elec minded so may see it stright away

I'll have a look tomorrow. I can't remember what I did with that row of relays, I have the ecus. There are a few more on the body where the kick panels would have been.

The black box by the battery has been stripped of fuses if thats the one you mean.

That arch is ****ed. I dare say the inner arch will be too ;)

You will need to get the panel. We can have a poke on the weekend though.

Oh that wing does not look good mate, Matt and I are getting good at replacing them, you will be as well, lol

I'll see whats happening with the kids over the weekend and may be along on sat.

Realistically how long does it take to do an arch?
Thats the only bit they were concerned over on the pre MOT check.
& this weekend is the only one I am free apart from the Suffolk driving weekend and I've only been twice this year.

I may have to take it off the road for a while if its as bad as you think??????

Do an arch in an afternoon, if that,s all it is, I am at Newbourne all the weekend of the driving day doing the RR day on the sat and the driving day on the Sunday, I think matt is doing that as well.

so if that's al that needs sorting, its not too bad

Laning tomorrow night.
Who is coming along?

Whats the plan???
If we are planning on doing good Easter would make sense to start there.
I'm happy to try and find a suitable meeting point if needed.
