EGR Valve

I have removed my EGR valve with a kit bought off bay. It starts and runs normal,but when I excellerate it loses power and starts to shudder a bit. Any ideas much appreciated

You don't mention what engine it is. But, EGR valves don't add to performance so blanking it won't adversely affect anything apart from maybe the emissions. What will adversly affect the performance is an air leak in the pipes from the turbo to the intercooler and then to the inlet manifold. You mess with the intercooler to manifold pipe when doing the EGR blanking so check all the turbo pipes.
