Dump valve cleaning

According to the Haynes manuel ref replacing the air filter element and also the "dump valve" cleaning, quote "Reach under the wheel arch and squeeze together the side of the dump valve and remove debris" .I have looked under the n/s wheel arc but cannot see any valve.I did a search but found no help,so can you guys let me know where this valve is? Cheers
