Hi All, apologies if this qualifies for the most ridiculous question ever to appear on this site. I’ve got an 06 TD4 and the oil change is coming up, last year when I did it I also changed the air, crankcase, fuel filter at the OSR wheel arch (the long thin one)and turbo filters, gearbox, IRD, and diff oils. My question is: is there another fuel filter under the engine bay fuse box? Having read some Fred’s about said fuel filters got me wondering if I’d missed it. Haynes manual says ‘upto 2003’ for the engine bay filter and ‘2003 on’ for the OSR one. Thing is I can see something under the fuse box but don’t want to pull it all apart if it’s not a filter.
As ever your help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Michael
ps I’ve only owned it two years!

A 2006 TD4 only has 1 fuel filter, the one at the back.
The crankcase filter is done at the same time as the oil filter. And don't forget the cabin filter too.

Thanks Nodge. That’s good then. Did the cabin filter last year with all the others. Just passed it’s MOT today with OS track end with very slight play and some OSF brake pipes ‘corroded or covered with…..’ So thats all on the list now. I did wonder what the occasional thud from the OSF was.
Cheers,
Michael.
