Door mechanism link clip (1987 110TD CSW)

I am trying to buy some link clips (part no 634604) to retain the link rods in my doors but all of the suppliers supercede to BEE500030. The original part has a plastic insert within the clip but the updated part is missing this. Does anyone know if I can buy the inserts separately, or if the original part might still be available anywhere please?

Is the plastic bit just to take out the slack?
As I am sure something could be sorted.

This is part BFP1265L, which is available with the insert.

This is what you get if you try to buy 634604, which supercedes to BEE500030 which does not have the insert.


It is the 634604 that I need but I suspect I am going to have to buy the BFP1265L just to use the inserts. I know it is not a massive outlay but I would still rather not do it that way.
