Rear driver side door has started suddenly acting up whereby the lock won't pop up/unlock at all.
Either by the unlock switch in the cabin, or via keyfob - it just won't have it.

I assumed that it was maybe just a bit sticky or something but took off the door card to investigate and all seems ok. A liberal does of WD40 on all the moving bits didn't make a scrap of difference.

I can feel the solenoid is trying to do something but isn't, so I'm not sure if this would normally signify the solenoid is knackered, or if something just needs taking out and freeing up?
Cheers!

If the actuator isn't moving then it's shot or not getting power.

Disconnect it and meter the connection while doing the lock switch, does it get voltage? If yes, check actuator, applying 12v to it does it work? If not, replace...

Thanks chaps - and yeah, good point sorry, should have said D2!

Will try that fix out, thanks!
There is power getting to it. Like I say it tries to do something as you can feel it, but it's more like a tiny click or something like it's stuck, so maybe it is like it says in the link.

Will advise if it sorts it once I've had a chance to try.
