as ive read tw.ts are piching headlights is there anything that can be added to save this happerning , ie extra anti theft kit that can be bought to save them going for a walk,, ive aready security marked mine with reg and address , in invisible marker but ,, need some extra fixing or something to stop this ,, as i don't fancy welding bars over then with the mig welder:D

ffs This subject has been done to death over the last fortnight, just search back over the last couple of pages.

Right now, the only way you can stop the scroats knicking your facelift headlights is to own a Defender!

But then they knick the whole vehicle instead.

Bloodyhell wishing id kept my 51 plate instead .i didnt these were that bad for stealing the whole vechical as well ..thats it im selling it then

Personally I don't like the facelift lights, they're not in keeping with a 4x4.

wtf!

Whats wrong with having lights that work, rather than 1 candle power crap lights of a 200TDi? Or do you suscribe to the crap standard lights and drive everywhere with 2000 watts alight on a roof bar?

As posted above, there are a lot of different ideas how to secure them. just depends how bothered you are and what sort of area you live in,

Kind of resurrecting an old thread here, but perhaps that is slightly better than starting a new one. My headlights and grill were stolen off my '04 Discovery last week, so I'm looking to prevent it from happening again. Has anyone come up with a good way of doing that? I figure a combination of anti-theft bars, anti-theft bolts (something like the ones from brycefastener.com), and a hood lock should do the trick. I'm having difficulty finding an anti-theft bar that ships to Canada though...any recommendations?
