Hi Guys.
Got a small leak from the solenoid valve, tightened the nut up as far as possible, but still leaking, need to replace the O ring I would think, the question is, will I have to bleed the system after removal
Thanks in advance/Pete.

Didn't Know that. It's the one under half way down under on the driver side, bolted to the chassis. It has several brake pipe going into it. Thanks for your assistance.

that is the ace valve block ,will be either a seal pack or a pipe leak,

depends on which side is leaking, on the side with 4 pipes going into it or on the other vwith 2, you'll need as many this kind of seals http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/pipe-seal-valve-block-rvw100010-p-4789.html as many they are on that side cos once the clamping plate was removed the best is that all the seals on that side to be replaced too... that black plastic thing on the seal pack is only to enable to tap it inside without damaging it then you can bin it, lubricate the seals with ACE oil before fitting.... no need to bleed it after that just top up the reservoir and go for a harsh ride with many cornerings and make it to articulate well, it will bleed itself just watch the fluid level to be OK all the time

depends on how corroded pipes are ive known several were destruction of pipes was the only way they would come out ,,in which case your better just doing immediate problem or renew all the pipes

Thanks Guys, it the side with 2 pipes connecting into it. None of the pipe are coroded, it is just leaking from where is sits, after tightening the nut, it has nearly stopped it, but I am a bit weary of stripping the thread.

pipes can seem fine but have a pin hole or crack in the flare collets grip, rear seals are easier than the front, new seal packs come with instructions for removing old
