got a td5, Discovery, problem is, it's sluggish on hills, when accelerating the power is low, and after a few seconds it kicks in. Have used a diesel additive to see if this makes any improvement but nothing, thinking it's maybe a valve problem, any suggestions would be welcome./Pete
My Discovery TD5 seems to have a slight problem on acceleration, it is sluggish at first, then the power returns to normal. Just added some Diesel engine additive to see if this makes any difference, thinking maybe a blocked injector. Any ideas ?.
