NO, there is NO pump in the fuel tank on a Disco1! Assuming you're talking about a doozal!!! There is only a fuel sender which works the fuel gauge, as well as the pipes of course.
The only fuel pump is the lift pump in the engine bay.

diesel= no pump in tank .
