Hi all, long time no see, my discos rectangular front foglights located in the bumper are half filled with rusty water, ive looked on fleabay and it would cost me £150 to replace em!!! anyone know of a cheaper set? cheers:)

Take em out. Empty the water out. Pressure wash them inside and then re-assess the situation. Chances are that theycwill look a lot better than you imagine.

Fog lights?

What for?

For Posers, that's what.
They are no good in fog, and illegal if there isn't fog, so WHY?

Black gaffer tape covers them up nicely.

just tryin to restore the vehicle to its original condition, it came with fogs (which i have actually blanked for now) would be nice to get it all looking as it did when it rolled out the factory - no reason, just for fun!

Just pretend it was a sensible model with no fog lights from new!

That would save you a heap of fuss and some cash.

My Disco 2 has a pair in the front bumper/valance. What a waste of effort!
They do NOTHING useful day or night, fog or clear. But I suppose there's a pair of spare H7 bulbs tucked inside if I could get at them.

speaking of front fog lamps i just changed my bull bar back to original front end and the front fogs plugged straight in to the wiring at the headlamps and didnt work. Should they come on with the rear fogs or should there be a seperate switch under the clock? and will the wirign for that switch be
there ?

That's right a seperate switch under the clock and the wiring is there as front fogs was an option as well as standard fitment on some models.

nope in a 200TDi, Discovery, the foglamp switch is next to the speedo in the switch cluster. there int nowt under the clock and you wouldn't be able to reach it from the drivers seat anyway.

righ i took the clock out and the switches below and the drinks holder and ashtray there is nothing behind there that will fit or even any wiring. there is under the steering column flap a red connector with six wires going in to it that goes to nowhere could i need a connestor to this then to the fogs ?
