Hey, got any photos of the current build? Front? sides? Rear? I thinking about doing this to mine to remove the rust issue in the back.

I am struggling with the fact i will lose the back which means no more sleeping in it.

I haven't put the panels on yet but I've got one with them on temporally, and I'm building a sleeper trailer so if I do want to camp I can! :)
If you do do it, you can buy a rear pannel that fits right on, a very nice option!

Right... going to get a set of springs made up for the rear, found a place that will do em for 150ish.
I was going to play around with modding some but I dont want the hassle of making mounts twice.

My current springs are ****part ( part of the mm4x4 pro comp kit ) +40mm, 220lbft/in, 17mm thickness, 435 free length, with 9 active coils.
The new ones are going to be a lil bit softer as its sitting a bit high atm due to half the car being removed!
I want to keep the +40 ride hight and be able to have 15 inches of travel.

I will have to make new seat for the springs to sit on the chassis as the springs will be a fair bit longer!

Thanks Jai! you may just have saved me 100+ notes!

No worries been trialers choice for many years up til recently when people started using really light x springs.

I got them on the front of my 90 and they are soft as. You might want something lighter on a v8 on front ideally but they'll be ok if your running a heavy bumper he winch.

I may have my old rear ones if you wanted to fit and try but will need them back in a couple if weeks. I also got a pair of really light duty v8 trial springs for one day I ever build a coiler trialer.

I am running a big'ol bumper + winch so might be good, I've ordered a set of springs, if they are no good ill sell them on! thanks again for the tip! :D

Say hello to my new shock mounts!

And my eye-to-pin adaptors (the'er not wonky, I checked its the pic lol)

Any idea what these 2 items are for or where they go?

Also what these header bolts have attached to them?

The bent bar is the alternator brace, goes from alt bottom front bolt to timing cover.

I removed mine cos of crank sensor and its fine without.

I'm guessing that plate is starter heat shield but ages since I removed mine.

The header bolt don't know, again, could be ages since I ditched mine but heat shield could be it.

Cheers :)
