Disco 3 cat delete ?

Hi everyone first off thanks for your time. I am new here and have been creeping for a while now.
Anyways i am going to tackle a trany filter service here in a couple days and was wondering if anyone gas had any luck with pulling the cats out and putting a section of straight pipe in with o2 spacers to get rid of a CEL light ?

Well they are gone no light and i did it while replacing and servicing my tranny filter do far no cel but man what a nightmare with the manifold bolts i broke 2 and it was bad

I'm assuming that yours is a V8 petrol? Over here in Europe the preferred version is the V6 diesel so that's probably why you didn't get much response.
