Have you been under it to have a look to see what is about to fall off?

haha nothing as far as I can see but you never no its a landy after all, there is a slight leak from the power steering but that's it think the a split in the pipe

sorry to hijack your post but i have a steering "noise" too if anyone got any ideas. only way to explain mine is it sounds like the column is rubbing when you turn the wheel. not sure if these can be greased/oiled but any info be nice haha its a 300tdi disco 1

Is it the bottom of the steering wheel rubbing on the column shroud ?

no plenty of room and i've had all that off recently to straighten the wheel lol, noise sounds like its down behind the pedals on the main part of the shaft but i cant see how to oil/grease it or even if thats an option,

jake have you checked the anti-roll bar bushes and other bushes that will be under more load when your turning!

im far from a land rover mechanic but im a pro tinkerer and dont give up on a job if i can help it lol
