Diff Lock explanation to woman needed

its all very well the blokes fallin about and takin the **** but someone at sometime showed them or taught them how to do it ( actually thinking about it i think some of them were born just knowing- its in the dna !)

im on my 3rd defender- 14 years and although i kind of understand in theory about the diff lock ive never had anyone show me and therefore dont feel comfortable using it.

so when the urge to take the **** becomes too strong for some of u to cope with please remember that not all of us have a handy landy bloke about to just "know" how to do it:confused:

14 years and you still aren't sure - that's pathetic

there's numerous excellent explanations all over the net that you could have read if you really wanted to know how it worked

You charmer ,you - like i said have read the theory but have never had opportunity to try it out with someone who can get me out of the **** if i get it wrong- im pleased that you are able to learn all you need to know from net and put it straight into practice- some of us learn differntly and need showing- so shoot me !

my 110 is my main work car and used to transport me & kids -wouldnt have the first clue about going off roading or driving in conditions where i would need diff lock and have to say that the idea of just pitching up on my lonesome to some meet to try it out for the first time to be met with your supportive attitude for my "patheticness" probably doesnt encourage me. :p

Anyhow excusing the iffy intro see this vid through to the end and it explains what it is and how it works, but depending on the model you have it wont explain what the levers are for. Just search on here for when to use diff lok and someone will have started a thread about it. Hope this helps here is the link . . . .
