Hi. I wanna stick a big set of Mud Terrain tyres on my defender. Its got a 2" lift. I dont want to mess up the steering lock much and I dont want the tyres to rub on full articulation.

When I say big, I think I mean tall (for axle ground clearance) But I presume wide is better for grip as well ?

Advice please.

just put new mt's on my 90 265/75/16 with 2inch lift £69 each from 4x4 tyres.com cheep as chips

Bigger is better and go for some wheel spacers if you are worried about steering lock but go for decent ones with a centre spigot! I run some on my 110 with 285's and no clearance issues with a 2" lift!
