Bit of a long shot but does anyone have a pair of A frame to chassis brackets? Maybe on a breaker / old chassis?
They bolt to the underside of the chassis and accept the chassis end of the A frame.
Needed for a ground up new build hence we have nothing breaking to source parts from...
Cheers
Rich

Thanks for the reply!
Just found the part numbers
Right hand is 575615
Left side is 575616
Don't appear to be available new.
The websites that list them say out of stock ☹️ And list the price as £200 odd EACH

Hello - we have both of these part numbers here at Hobsons. They are used but have been through our asset recovery process so are in good condition! Let me know if I can help at all

I have sent a message to the admin - like I said just trying to help and advising that we do have a lot of parts available that are not available elsewhere and more than likely at a fraction of the cost. Apologies if I have caused offence.

I don't really see what the problem is if I can help find a part that cannot be found elsewhere?

It's a tricky balance tbh. Sources of hard to find parts are always useful but we have a strict anti spamming policy because otherwise we'd be inundated.

Why would sponsors that help cover the costs bother if they could just hunt down every thread where they can 'help' and promote their business name and advertise their website on a public part of a forum viewed in the 10s of thousands every month?

How would they feel about paying for the opportunity to do so when another company doesn't?

Established members recommending a company that they have found helpful is a very different thing to a company joining and promoting itself even if they take the time to search for threads where they can be genuinely helpful.

It's still free advertising unless you're incredibly discreet which you probably don't want to be......Because you want to promote your business.

Hi all!
Thanks to everyone who responded to the thread!!
We have actually sourced the parts locally for the princely sum of £20! Already painted too!
Apparently marshlands chassis come with later brackets welded to the chassis whereas Richards don't (unless you ask i suppose).
Anyway, if anyone wants to know where we sourced the brackets from get in touch!
The source had plenty

Hi, I am after a set of these brackets, mine were all seized up and had to be cut off, I can't find anything priced below 3 figures. If you could let me know your source please.

Thanks

David

They came from All Drive in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

They were take offs from a chassis swap where the new chassis had them incorporated.
It's worth giving them a bell and asking as they are, as you have found, quite pricey and difficult to source
