Does anyone know of an easy way of decarbonizing a 3.5 EFi engine ?

I've spent 3 days decarbonizing my Rocker boxes/Plenum/Trumpets

(When i say carbon it's that nasty thick black coating looks like Carbon)

1 day on each Rocker :(

I have to move down the engine (Wonder if the previous owner knew what oil changes meant) "Oh means to change the chip pan"

So guys any suggestion will be a help.

have you tried some of the mister muscle products for removing greese and grime worked a treat on my greasy old car parts in the past, you are such a busy girl glad to find a lady who likes getting her hands dirty and fixing cars good on yeh.tiga

well the only other thing is like putting a wire wheel on a drill or better still on a dremel i know what you mean about heavy gunk its nasty

Hi

Solved the problem. Today stripped Plenum/Trumpets/Rockers/Rocker boxes/Push Rods all out cleaning them now. Dremel brilliant idea (Should of had one years ago)

Rangie will be back on the road by Monday :D (Happy Bunny again)

Just gotta find out why my Drivers side tyre is being pulled off (Gonna change it can't risk a faulty tyre)
