Hello to all i hope you are all well.
I am thinking on improving my FL. Im going to cover the A pilars with leather and im also looking to the dash for some leather covering.
My question is...Is there any way or even if it possible just to remove both side pockets, the inst cluster cover, the central buttons cover and the airbag cover?
I was thinking on covering those in the same color as the seats. Mine is the beije one so i rhink it would look perfect.
Many thanks

All of those parts are removable, except you can't cover the airbag, as it would cause an issue should it deploy in a crash.

Thank you Nodge..
I though the airbag was on the round part not on the flat part.....so good to know
Any idea how the rest comes out?
when we remove the cup holders i see 2 inverted screws holding i get the central part with the buttons.....
any idea how they hold to the dash the side pockets etc?
Many Thanks

The airbag top cover splits open across the joint with the curved section, the top then flips forwards, and the curved section flips down, allowing the airbag to deploy towards the passenger in the gap that forms between the 2 sections. Any kind of cover would prevent this, so covering isn't possible.

The cup holders can be removed, there's a screw in the bottom. My memory is a bit cloudy, but it's possible that the centre section between the switches and cup holders doesn't come off. However once the cup holders are removed, and the switches taken out, it should be possible to cover the section and disguise the joints.
The rubber insert on the right of the dash comes out, but the plastic bit probably doesn't, I don't think. However it should be possible to cover the plastic part acceptably, if the edges of the cover are disguised in the natural lines of the dash moulding.

The dash top comes off easily.

The right of the dash
