2012 Westminster Dashboard backlight Fault

Hi there Landy Lovers
I have just replaced a suspension airbag and as I started the engine, my dashboard failed to light up. There is a very feint image showing all the instruments that seem to be showing all the correct information. However in the sunshine these will be impossible to see.
Has anyone had any experience in this area

It would be useful to know what model car you are talking about, Westminster is a trim level.
