The old girl has just passed her MOT with a few advisories but none related to tyres, suspension or bushes - however she struggles with the tramlines on the A14 to the point where it gets quite scary.
Any ideas where or what I should look at ?
Thanks

I get that in my motorhome and it scares the bejesus outta me! Feels like a rear tyre blow out sometimes.
Unfortunately, due to low power to weight ratios I have to spend nearly all my time in the lorry lane.

What size wheels have you got? My TD5 did the same until I replaced my 18's for 16's. I also had different make tyres on all 4 corners as well (previous owner) which I'm sure didn't help.

I've found it has nothing to do with with wheel size I have had the same experience with wheels 13inch to 20 inch it depends on if you're tyres will fit near the tracks that HGVs have left.
Try driving a car with wider rear tyres to get the greater experience of driving in the near side lane, great fun at speed. :)
No probs in the outer lanes, try it

Every body should be in the left 'lorry' lane unless overtaking lol
