When shes stopped revs jump up and down sometimes even cutting her out been told its the air flow meter but when i have disconnected it, while running doesnt seem to make any difference and the revs still bounce any ideas?

Well it would help if we knew what motor we're talking about.

Have you done a search?

Whoever said the problem is your air flow meter needs to think again. Idle Stabilisation Valve aka Idle Air Bypass Valve aka Stepper Motor.:search:

If it isn't that then your ecu is possibly playing up.

larry if you still not sorted it, thers a guy in rice lane who know lannys well and not to dear. pm me if you need his number..

classic can be a few possibilitys throttle position switch afm sticking gumed up steppper motor base idle lack of service block air filter have the ecu fault read
