Correct remote bleeper..

for an M plate, mine had a single button and looked like the first link you posted, however I only had an empty shell !!! when you have one it might be good to give it a drop of super glue as PO said he found it open and empty some day in his pocket

beware of the frequency: they used different frequency ranges between UK, Australia, France, etc (use a mirror and try to look at the sticker on the cover of the alarm ECU)
 
mine is behind the cardboard plate at the passenger's feet, when you open it there is a metal plate on the left holding relays and some wiring, and the ECU is sandwiched in the recess between that plate and the car body

I don't know how to remove it (didn't try to as I don't have a fob so I don't use it, fuse removed to be safe and that's it) I just used a piece of tissue to remove dust and used a dental mirror to look at the markings
 
Well the ECU is 433Mhz. This mainly is so i dont forget when im looking and have to rummage around in the footwell again...
This would seem that its the fob part number LUCTXTJ1? Can anybody confirm this.

Dont have edc and the vin is MA1027xx. (Last 2 digits ommitted). I did however come across a recipt for a "remote contol" in the docs. the part number is lamr3723 also has f15ad before it and is from a LR dealer, but dont have anything to reference this against.
