This wasn't on the work in progress list until we had to drive through some minor flood water.
Since this I've had the suspension inactive msg come up. All the light are lit and the cars in the standard height.
I took out the sparewheel and was met with over an inch of water in the wheel well. The insulation around the pump was sopping so I assume that the water has caused a sort somewhere.
My questions are if anyone can help me ...
If I disconnect the compessor at the electrical and air hook up points to dry out and plaster in wd40 would the car sink (its stuck at standard height which is fine)?

would it be worth simply trying to get the error code reset?

Fuses look fine, is there anything else thats straight forward to check?

Id quite like to sort myself, I rebuild the compressor on my old p38 which worked a treat and so far have done a few bits on my l322 (2002) td6 with a fair bitnof success.

Many thanks

Dan

No Sinking....

The Air Bag Pressure is retained at the valve block...

Dry everything out and plug it back in....

If you have the Hold lights on the Height Selector switch, with luck it may clear itself...otherwise you'll need diagnostics to clear the fault!

Thanks very much, I'll strip it down over the next few days in that case. I was amazed just how much water had found its way. So far I've put it down to a poor rubber seal which wasn't pushed onto the seam at the lower tail gate.
Thanks again, i'll report back with progress.

just thinking, if the pressure is held up with the compressor removed could the car still be used without any further issues while the compressor dries out?

the water probably didn't get in from the flood you drove through.

its most likely been getting in through the common rear window leak.

driving through the flood probably through a height sensor as it was most likely submerged at the time !

try to dry everything out and look for water leak from windows etc.

took mine through deep water the other day and all fine, although, i'll have a look in boot just in case.
best of luck.,.
