Help my 1.8 petrol Judders so bad on take up its almost undrivable'the gears go in ok it seems to be worse in heavy traffic
There is also a buzzy type wine from the clutch area.
Got a bad feeling the kids are going to be on bread and jam to pay for this.
 
Could be oil or other fluid getting onto the clutch surface causing it or it could just be on its way out through time served. Either way it is going to need replacing sooner or later just look at it that way.
 
Borg & Beck are supposed to be the dogs danglies but I have heard Sachs do a decent kit. Sachs do the OEM for VW/Audi so must be decent quality.
 
Hi all,bits done since last post,replaced clutch slave cylinder bracket (cracked in 2 places)
The fl drives a lot better.siliconed sun roof fed up getting wet through sort it in summer.
Checked vcu ird prop ect ,,,vcu on way out recon unit installed even better to drive ,no Clonks
Bangs ///shudders ect well chuffed about that. Just got my hands on centre section and back box (exhaust) to fit later on mates ramp,now for the ****ty bit the sump guard frame will
Fxxxxxrs come off ,,would it be OK to use a impact gun?. Took it to tong off road a few weeks ago great fun great people car was awesome ,some green landing this year maybe,
