I dont think anyone can be arsed any more :(. I think the really worrying thing about this is that the authorities dont seem to give a **** and dont know the differences between one vehicle and another. I have the V5 from an Ford pop- half tempted to put the plates on my slitty to make it tax exempt. (Not sure they would notice)
What a complete farce. I hope the authorities ( or any that read this thread) realise how stupid they gave been made to look. Is it any wonder we have no confidence in the police and consider them to be an oppressive revenue collection service, rather than protectors of the public at large from criminals and con men. I hope they hang their heads in shame. They were given this on a plate, with enough supporting evidence to make clear to even the dumbest person, and they chose to ignore it!

You are kidding right? The owner doesn't want any help. Read the bloody thread! Give me a shout next week when you've finished.

Who's the owner? IF the Defender is a stolen car, then its not nothappy! It will either be the original owner it was stolen from (if they only had third party insurance), or the insurance company if a claim has been paid out. Without the proper Defender chassis number we don't know who's it is, or if a Landyzone member has had theirs stolen and this is it.
